In Gaza, at least 16 Palestinian civilians, including women and children, were killed on Thursday, and dozens more were injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a hospital that was sheltering displaced families in Jabalia, according to ANI report.
The airstrike hit the courtyard of Yemen Al-Saeed hospital, where many civilians had taken refuge. Following the strike, casualties were transported to the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia.
In a separate incident, four Palestinian youths were reported killed in Nablus, West Bank, when Israeli special forces opened fire on their vehicle late Wednesday.
In recent days, Israeli authorities once again ordered more than 400,000 people who remain north of Wadi Gaza in the Gaza Strip to move south while at the same time tightening access restrictions and expanding military operations in the north, UN humanitarians said.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) on Wednesday said it continues to be deeply concerned about the situation in the northern areas of Gaza.
