Srinagar: Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Monday condemned the killing of six workers and a doctor in a militant attack on a construction site in Gagangeer area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, terming it “outrageous”.
In a statement, Mirwaiz stated that he is deeply saddened by the outrageous killings in Gagangir.
“Islam, like all religions, deplores such inhuman behaviour. Every life is precious, and to be lost in this manner is extremely painful. Another grim reminder of the unending cycle of violence and uncertainty we are suffering for decades,” he said.
