Youth dies of electrocution in Srinagar, KPDCL orders time-bound probe

Srinagar: A youth lost his life after receiving an electric shock on December 14, 2024, in Kursoo Rajbagh.

The victim, engaged by M/S Gopikrishna Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, the Turnkey Contractor (TKC) for the RDSS scheme, was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

In response to the incident, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) extended its condolences, mourning the untimely death.

A spokesperson for the corporation expressed deep sorrow over the loss and assured that a thorough investigation would be carried out to determine the circumstances leading to this unfortunate accident.
