Israeli forces carried out a series of airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of 19 Palestinians and leaving many others injured, according to local reports on Friday.

The Civil Defense Directorate reported that airstrikes in the Sabra neighborhood of southern Gaza City targeted the homes of the Abu Shanab, Kiyyali, and Al-Lawh families. Nine individuals were killed, and several others sustained injuries in the attack.

Health officials confirmed that Israeli drones struck two motorcycles in southern Gaza, leading to the deaths of three people.

Separate strikes in central Gaza City and Rafah, a southern city, caused the deaths of six more Palestinians, with numerous others injured. Another drone strike in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza reportedly killed one person and left several others wounded.

Since the Hamas-led cross-border attack on October 7, 2023, Israel has launched an extensive military campaign in Gaza, which has claimed over 45,100 lives, predominantly women and children.

Last month, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, accusing them of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Additionally, Israel is facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice over its actions in Gaza.
