Jammu: Police on Monday said that it have booked a militant associate in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir under the Public Safety Act.
A police spokesman said that the accused has been identified as Mohammad Rafiq, son of Mohammad Qasim, a resident of Balota Chigla, Basantgarh, who has involved in multiple cases and was working as active guide/facilitator for militant organisations till his arrest.
Keeping in view the activities of accused he was ordered to be detained under Public Safety Act, reads the statement. (GNS)
