Srinagar: Flight operations have resumed at Srinagar Airport, with the first flight arriving from Amritsar following a weather-related delay, officials said.

Fresh snowfall across Kashmir, including Srinagar, late Sunday evening disrupted flight schedules, causing all morning flights to be delayed.

Director Srinagar Airport, Javed Anjum, told Kashmir News Observer that flights initially delayed until 11am resumed once weather conditions improved. “The runway is clear, and the flight status is now on standby. Operations are proceeding as weather permits,” he stated.

The disruptions follow Sunday’s cancellations when dense fog reduced visibility to zero, grounding all flights.
