Rajkot: Several CCTV videos from a maternity hospital in Gujarat have surfaced on YouTube and Telegram, raising concerns about patient security at a facility meant to be a safe space for women.
The leaked footage from Payal Maternity Home in Rajkot shows nursing staff administering injections to female patients. The videos were widely circulated before catching the attention of the Ahmedabad Cyber Crime Police.
Dr Amit Akbari, a doctor at the hospital, told media that the CCTV server was hacked. “We are unaware of how the videos went viral. It seems like a cyber breach, and we will cooperate with the police in the investigation,” he stated.
