Marvel Studios has officially announced the cast of its upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday, featuring a mix of established MCU heroes and newcomers from the X-Men and Fantastic Four franchises.

The ensemble includes Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Anthony Mackie (Captain America), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Letitia Wright (Black Panther), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), and Winston Duke (M’Baku), as revealed in a social media post by Marvel Studios.

Several actors from the upcoming Thunderbolts film will also appear, including Sebastian Stan (The Winter Soldier), Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova), and Wyatt Russell (US Agent).

Joining the MCU from the X-Men universe are Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Ian McKellen (Magneto), James Marsden (Cyclops), and Rebecca Romijn (Mystique). Additionally, Channing Tatum, who was once attached to a Gambit solo film, is set to make an appearance.

The Fantastic Four will also have a presence, with Pedro Pascal (Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (The Invisible Woman), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Thing), and Joseph Quinn (The Human Torch) joining the cast.

Tenoch Huerta Mejia, who portrayed Namor in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, has been included in the lineup despite past allegations of sexual misconduct.

In a major surprise, Robert Downey Jr. has been revealed as the MCU’s new Doctor Doom, marking a highly anticipated return. His involvement was initially announced at San Diego Comic-Con in July.

Avengers: Doomsday is slated for release on May 1, 2026, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars on May 7, 2027.
