Srinagar: Cyber Police Kashmir has cautioned social media users against sharing fake or misleading information intended to misguide the public.
Officials noted that certain handles are circulating doubtful content and warned that any such violations will be dealt with strictly under the law. Users have been advised to refrain from posting unverified or false content.
“It has been observed that certain social media handles are sharing fake & doubtful information with intend to mislead the general publicAll users are advised to refrain from posting such content. Any violation will be dealt with as per the law,” Cyber Police Kashmir said in a statement on Tuesday.
