Srinagar: In the wake of the devastating April 22 militant attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed the lives of 26 tourists, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has strongly criticised Pakistan, attributing the incident to its alleged support for militancy.
Speaking to reporters in Srinagar, Owaisi expressed deep concern over the economic repercussions faced by Kashmiris due to the sudden decline in tourism following the attack.
“The real loss is being borne by the people of Kashmir,” Owaisi stated, stressing upon the urgent need for the Indian government to respond decisively to Pakistan’s actions. Earlier, he called Pakistan as a “failed nation” and accused it of acting like ISIS, highlighting the severity of the threat posed by such extremist activities.
