Srinagar: A missile-shaped object fell into Dal Lake, a famous tourist spot in Srinagar, after loud blasts were heard in the city on Saturday morning, officials said.
Smoke was seen rising from the lake after the object hit the water. Armed forces have pulled out the debris and are analysing it, officials told PTI.
Another suspicious object was also found in Lasjan, on the outskirts of Srinagar, the same morning. Officials were quoted saying that it is also being examined.
