The Israeli Foreign Ministry has issued fresh instructions to Israeli citizens and diplomatic missions worldwide in light of the ongoing military strikes against Iran.
“Israeli missions around the world will be closed and consular services will not be provided,” the ministry said in a statement.
In addition, the ministry has advised all Israelis currently abroad to fill out a survey to update authorities on their current location and situation.
Tensions have soared in the wake of Israel’s airstrikes on Iranian targets, which it claims were in response to Iran’s direct drone and missile assault earlier this week.
This latest round of violence marks a major intensification in the long-running shadow conflict between the two regional adversaries, raising fears of a broader confrontation.
