Jammu: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Sunday night apprehended a Pakistani national after he crossed into the R S Pura sector of Jammu district from across the border.
Officials identified the person as 29-year-old Siraj Khan, from whom Rs 30 in Pakistani currency were recovered.
BSF personnel first issued warnings and even fired two to three rounds in an attempt to stop him from entering Indian territory, according to sources quoted by The Indian Express.
The man is currently under interrogation to ascertain the motive behind his border crossing.
