Punjab: A Kashmiri student studying at SVIEC College in Chandigarh, passed away on Tuesday due to a heart attack. The student Adeel Nazir was a resident of Hyderpora, Srinagar, Kashmir.
Currently, his body is lying at Civil Hospital, Kharar, awaiting necessary formalities. “In light of this tragedy, there is an urgent need to facilitate the swift repatriation of Adeel’s mortal remains to his hometown in Kashmir so that his family can perform the last rites with dignity,” J&K Students Association informed.
The association has appealed to chief minister’s advisor Nasir Aslam Wani to intervene and coordinate with Punjab officials to expedite the necessary procedures.
