Srinagar: Governor NN Vohra on Wednesday appointed D C Raina as new advocate general of Jammu and Kashmir.
An official spokesperson while talking on his appointment said, “In exercise of his power under the J&K Constitution, Governor NN Vohra today appointed Sr Advocate D C Raina as Advocate General of Jammu and Kashmir State.”
The previous Advocate General, Jahangir Iqbal Ganai, appointed by previous PDP-BJP coalition government was asked to put-in his papers by the Vohra administration.
