Shopian: A militant has been in killed in an ongoing military operation in Melhoora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Monday.

Official sources said that one militant has been killed during the military operation against militants; however, the identity of the slain is yet to be ascertained.
The operation began after a joint team of JK Police and army’s 55RR launched a cordon and search operation in Melhoora
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them ensuing the operation.
