Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday put speculations aside and said that JK administration is not going to levy any property tax from people in JK.
Sinha was speaking in a function “My Town My Pride” in north Kashmir’s Baramulla. “Speculations are rife that property tax will be levied from people of Jammu and Kashmir. I am assuring you in clear terms that no such tax would be levied in JK by the administration”.
LG Sinha was on a day-long visit to Baramulla where he took stock of developmental works. Besides meeting with officials from civil administration, he listened to several delegations who apprised Sinha about their problems.
