Pampore: An unidentified militant has been killed in an ongoing military operation in Khrew area of Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.

In a tweet, Kashmir Zone Police wrote, ” 01 unidentified militant killed, operation in progress,”.
Earlier, the operation began after a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation following inputs about the presence of militants.
As the joint team of armed forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them triggering the operation.
