Anantnag: A militant has been killed in an ongoing military operation in Arwani area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday.
Police officials said that an unidentified militant has been killed in the operation. However, the identity of the slain is yet to be ascertained.

Earlier, officials said that a joint team of armed forces including police and army launched a cordon and search operation in the Mumanhal Arwani area.
As the joint team of armed forces approached the suspected spot, the officials said hiding militants fired upon them triggering the operation.
