Three injured in bear attack in JK’s Rajouri

Rajouri: At least three persons were injured after they were attacked by a bear in Kotcharwal village of Khawas tehsil in Rajouri on Wednesday.

Locals informed the news agency Kashmir News Observer that two of the injured persons were referred to GMC Jammu for specialized treatment.

The injured have been identified as Mohd Munshi (55), Buttu (35), and Abdul Rashid (30)—all residents of Kotcharwal village of Khawas in Rajouri.

Locals said the persons were present in their fields when a wild bear attacked them and all three got injured and were taken to the local civil hospital where Mohammad Munshi and Buttu have been referred to GMC Jammu.
