Israel said on Monday imposed a “total blockade” on Gaza, including a ban on admitting food and fuel to the area, Al Jazeera reported.

Gaza is already facing a complete electricity blackout after Israel cut electricity supply to the region for last two days, as per the Middle East Eye.

Now, Israel has ordered a “complete siege” on the Gaza Strip, adding that “no electricity, no food, no fuel” would be supplied to the region.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said, “I have ordered a complete siege on the Gaza Strip. There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed. We are fighting human animals and we act accordingly.”

Israel and Egypt have imposed various levels of blockade on Gaza since Hamas seized power from rival Palestinian forces in 2007.

The ongoing conflict in Palestine escalated following retaliatory attacks by Hamas soldiers on Israel, triggered by the perceived occupation crimes committed by Israeli forces across Palestinian territories.

Subsequently, Israel launched a fierce military campaign, resulting in brutal attacks on Palestinian civilians.

Reports emerged of the alleged use of banned chemical weapons, specifically the ‘white-phosphorus bomb,’ on Palestinian civilians, causing significant concern among international observers.

Tragically, within less than two days, the violence in Gaza claimed the lives more than 450 people, underscoring the urgent need for a ceasefire and international intervention to prevent further loss of life and suffering.
