Ram Temple nears completion; ‘consecration ceremony’ on Jan 22

Ayodhya: With the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya less than a month away, construction activities are gaining momentum in the city.

Devotees from various parts of India are already flocking to witness the temple complex’s development.

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Ayodhya on Saturday to inaugurate the newly constructed airport and the railway station’s new terminal.

On Wednesday, a report by NDTV said, it was observed that construction is in full swing for the first phase of the Ram Temple, expected to be completed in the coming days.

Following this, decoration work will commence.

The site is adorned with heaps of Makrana Marble sourced from Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district and stones from various locations, all utilized in the grand temple’s construction.

The consecration ceremony on January 22 will see the participation of nearly 8,000 dignitaries, with 15% of the workforce at the site also receiving invitations.
