After 24-hour lull, military Op resumes in Kulgam, says police

Kulgam: After a lull of around 24 hours, a fresh exchange of fire resumed at the military operation site in the Redwani area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday.

A police officer said that a fresh exchange of fire resumed after a hiding militant fired upon forces when debris was being cleared.

He said that an exchange of fire is going on and further details will be shared later.

Earlier on Tuesday, two TRF militanta including commander Basit Dar who was carrying a bounty of 10 lakh on his head were killed in the operation. (KNO)
