Jammu: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Jammu Anand Jain on Monday said that Jammu and Kashmir Police is “ready to face any difficulty with full strength.”
The statement comes in response to the recent incident where a doctor and six labourers lost their lives when militants targeted a tunnel construction site along the Srinagar-Leh highway in Ganderbal district on Sunday.
The ADGP, Jammu was speaking after laying wreath at police memorial on ‘Police Commemoration Day’.
The officer also paid tributes to police officers and personnel who were killed in line of duty. He also paid homage to civilians killed in Gagangir militant attack.
ADGP Jain underscores the commitment of the police force to address threats and maintain order, assuring the public that law enforcement agencies are prepared to respond decisively to any acts of violence.
